Registration
Registration for our 2012 Summer Teaching With Technology workshops is now open. To register, please complete our Online Registration Form. Please note that your registration is not complete until we receive payment. If you have any questions please contact us at summer@edtechteacher.org or call (888) 377-9518.
Payment
There are two workshop payment options. If paying by check, or requesting a Purchase Order (PO), please make the check or PO payable to EdTechTeacher, Inc. If you plan to pay online by credit card, you can do so securely during your online registration.
Please note: Space in our workshops is limited, and they have sold-out in recent years. Spots are guaranteed on a first-paid, first-served basis so please expedite your payment as soon as possible.
Cancellation Policy
You can receive a full refund for your registration payment until June 1. After June 1, you will receive a full refund if we can replace you with a person from a waiting list. Otherwise you will receive a 50% refund for cancellation.
Waiting List Policy
If the workshop is full, we'll put you on the waiting list, and let you know what your position is on the list.
Computer Equipment
The workshops have a strong "hands-on" component, so you are encouraged to bring a laptop computer with wireless capability. You are welcome to bring a tablet such as an iPad or Galaxy in addition to your laptop, though tablets are not compatible with all web tools. EdTechTeacher does not provide computers for participants.
Some workshops have additional equipment suggestions, so we recommend reviewing the details of each workshop before arriving.
Professional Development Credits
Framingham State University has already provided Graduate Credit for all two-day and three-day workshops which we previously conducted at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. We are applying for credit for our new two and three day offerings. PDPs are provided (Professional Development Points) from the state of Massachusetts (1 PDP per instruction hour).
For our workshops at The Davis Academy in Atlanta, GA, we have been certified to give 2 PLUs for the Teaching the Elementary Grades workshop and 1 PLU for iPads & ePubs in the Classroom.
